Vegan Banana Pancakes

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! In today’s post, I’m sharing a recipe for 4-ingredient vegan banana pancakes. A lot of my pancake recipes have similar ingredients with a few modifications, so if you want to try making a different pancake flavor, check out some of my other recipes!

When I was younger, I would make pancakes all the time. I loved making pancakes or waffles on the weekends, and it was always my favorite sweet breakfast to make. That’s one of the reasons I’ve been making so many pancake recipes lately–because they’re so delicious! There are also endless pancake flavors that you can make.

Pancakes are one of my favorite breakfasts to make over the weekends when I have a little extra time. Prepping the batter takes less than five minutes, however, you do have to wait a bit for the pancakes to cook. You can either use a skillet, or a Dash mini pancake maker. I recently bought one and I absolutely love it! It makes making pancakes so much easier, and it’s super easy to use as well. All you have to do is plug it in, fill your griddle with your pancake batter, and wait a minute or two for each pancake to cook. It’s that easy!

These pancakes are vegan, and the only ingredients you need are rolled oats, baking powder, banana, and a nut milk of your choice. It’s a really filling breakfast and you can add any toppings that you want. I added Pbfit (which is powdered peanut butter) and banana slices, but you could also add chocolate chips, sprinkles, maple syrup or whip cream.

I have so many other delicious pancake recipes on my blog that you can check out as well:

Ingredients

  • Rolled or Quick Oats: The first ingredient need to make these delicious vegan banana pancakes is rolled or quick oats. Oats are one of my favorite ingredients to use when baking and I always use either rolled or quick oats in my pancake recipes. Oats are also super inexpensive. All of my recipes are budget-friendly!
  • Baking Powder: The next ingredient you need is 1/4 tsp of baking powder. Baking powder helps the pancakes rise.
  • Banana: You also need 1/2 of a banana. You’ll want to blend 1/2 of a banana in your blender or NutriBullet and add additional banana slices on top for extra sweetness! You can also fold some banana pieces into your pancake batter.
  • Nut Milk: The last ingredient need to make these 4-ingredient vegan banana pancakes is a nut milk of your choice. I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk, but you could also use soy milk, silk milk, or oat milk. You could also use water if you don’t want to use nut milk. I like using a nut milk to make the pancakes creamier.

Directions:

1. Add your rolled oats, banana, baking powder, and nut milk to a blender or NutriBullet to form a thick and creamy consistency.

3. Cook your pancakes on a griddle. (I used my Dash mini griddle)

4. Cook each pancake for about 2 minutes.

4. Add your desire toppings and enjoy! (I added creamy peanut butter and more banana slices)

These vegan banana pancakes are the perfect healthy breakfast. I make banana pancakes all the time in the mornings because it’s an easy recipe that I can make in less than 20 minutes. I topped my pancakes with Pbfit (you can also use creamy or crunchy peanut butter) and additional banana slices, but maple syrup is a great topping as well if you want your breakfast even sweeter!
