Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies

While I love my pumpkin dessert recipes and will be making many more to come in the next few weeks, I thought I’d take a break from the pumpkin treats and share this delicious chocolate peanut butter swirl brownie recipe.
I love brownies and they’re probably one of my favorite desserts to make. Brownies that are gooey, moist, and melt in your mouth are seriously the best.
These brownies are also really easy to make. After you prep the brownie batter, bake them in the oven for 10 minutes and let them cool. Enjoy with a glass of chilled nut milk.
Ingredients
- Oat Flour: The first ingredient you need to make these delicious vegan peanut butter swirl brownies is oat flour. Blend rolled oats in a blender to make oat flour.
- Baking Powder: The next ingredient you need is baking powder. This recipe calls for 1/2 tsp of baking powder.
- Cocoa Powder: The next ingredient you need is cocoa powder. Cocoa powder adds a strong chocolate flavor to these brownies. This recipe calls for 1/4 cup of cocoa powder.
- Applesauce: The next ingredient you need is applesauce. I really like using applesauce in dessert recipes because applesauce adds sweetness and helps with the texture of the brownies. This recipe calls for 1/4 cup of applesauce.
- Almond Milk: The next ingredient you need is almond milk, or a nut milk of your choice. This recipe calls for 1/4 cup of nut milk.
- Vanilla Extract: The next ingredient is vanilla extract.
- Truvia: You also need truvia, or a sweetener of your choice. This recipe calls for 2 tbsp of truvia.
- Peanut Butter: The next ingredient you need is peanut butter. Peanut butter makes the brownies super fudgy. This recipe calls for 1 tbsp of peanut butter.
- Banana: The next ingredient is banana. Like the applesauce, banana makes the brownies super moist and gooey. It also gives the brownies some extra sweetness.
- Chocolate Chips: The last ingredient you need to make these delicious vegan brownies are chocolate chips. I threw a handful of chocolate chips into the brownie batter and it made the brownies even more delicious! Some of my favorite vegan chocolate chips to use are Lilly’s and Enjoy Life’s vegan baking chips.
Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oat flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp truvia
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1/2 mashed banana
- 1-2 tbsp chocolate chips (vegan)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Combine dry ingredients to one bowl: oat flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and truvia
- Combine wet ingredients to a seperate bowl: applesauce, almond milk, vanilla extract, mashed banana, and peanut butter
- Slowly fold dry ingredients in wet ingredients
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Spray brownie pan with olive oil spray
- Add mixture to baking pan
- Drizzle peanut butter and chocolate chips on top
- Bake at 350° for 10 minutes
- Let cool and enjoy!

These fudgy vegan brownies are seriously the perfect fall treat to make. Add a peanut butter drizzle on top and a handful of chocolate chips and enjoy!
