Today’s recipe is for cheerio cereal bars I made. I use to love cereal bars, so I wanted to recreate one of my favorite treats. This is an easy recipe that calls for few ingredients including cheerios, peanut butter, maple syrup, chocolate chips, and almond milk (or a nut milk of your choice). Here’s the the ingredients you need.

Ingredients

  • Cheerios: The first ingredient you need for these cereal bars is cheerios. I used original cheerios. This recipe calls for 2 cups of cheerios.
  • Peanut Butter: The next ingredient you need is peanut butter. Peanut butter is one of the main ingredients you need for this recipe. This recipe calls for 1/2 cup of peanut butter. Peanut butter helps the bars stick together.
  • Maple Syrup: The next ingredient you need is maple syrup. Maple syrup is one of my favorite sweeteners to use because it’s super sweet. This recipe calls for 1 tbsp of maple syrup.
  • Chocolate Chips: Next is vegan chocolate chips. I used Enjoy Life’s mini chocolate chips in this recipe. Use as many chocolate chips as you want!
  • Almond Milk: The last ingredient you need for this recipe is almond milk, or a nut milk of your choice.

I added mini chocolate chips in these cereal bars, but you can choose any topping you want! Some other delicious toppings you can add are sprinkles, a peanut butter drizzle, or a chocolate drizzle. This recipe is super easy to make and can be easily modified.
