These cake pops are the perfect treat to make during the holidays, or all year round. Chocolate cake pops are a classic dessert, and I wanted to make a vegan recipe for one of my all-time favorite desserts. These cake bites are bite-sized, and a perfect treat to have throughout the day. This recipe is easy to make and calls for 9 ingredients.

Ingredients

  • Oat Flour: The first ingredient you need for this recipe is oat flour. Blend rolled oats in a blender to make oat flour. This recipe calls for 1/2 cup of oat flour.
  • Peanut Butter: The next ingredient you need for this recipe is creamy peanut butter. One of my favorite peanut butter’s to use is Smucker’s Creamy Natural Peanut butter. This recipe calls for 1/4 cup of peanut butter.
  • Maple Syrup: The next ingredient you need is maple syrup. Maple syrup is super sweet and adds the perfect amount of sweetness. This recipe calls for 1 tbsp of maple syrup.
  • Vanilla Extract: This recipe also calls for 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract.
  • Chocolate Chips: The next ingredient you need is vegan chocolate chips. I used chocolate chips as the icing for these cake pops. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave and cover the cake pops in chocolate. Pop them in the fridge until hardened.
  • Cocoa Powder: The next ingredient you need is cocoa powder. I used Hershey’s Unsweetened Cocoa Powder for this recipe.
  • Banana: You also need banana. Banana is used to sweeten these cake pops.
  • Almond Milk: The last ingredient you need is almond milk, or a nut milk of your choice. This recipe calls for 1/4 cup of almond milk. I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk.
