5 Vegan Desserts Under Five Minutes!

5 Vegan Desserts Under Five Minutes!

Hello everyone! Today’s post is dedicated to simple vegan desserts that you can easily make in five minutes or less. Sometimes you don’t have a lot of time on your hands and just want to make a dessert that is easy and doesn’t take a lot of time. Unless it’s the weekends, I’m usually swarming with work and don’t always have extra time to spare.

While I like baking, especially desserts, the best baked goods to make are the ones that don’t take long at all. I’m also a little impatient, so it’s not always fun to wait an hour or two for my dessert to bake in the oven.

Thus, I thought it would be a perfect idea to put together a post that is dedicated to some of my favorite vegan dessert recipes that you can make in under five minutes. I threw in a mix of fruity and chocolatey desserts because I know everyone has vastly difference dessert preferences. I’m personally a fan of chocolate desserts, but even I have my moments where I’m craving fruity desserts. I’m super excited to get into this post and share my favorite dessert recipes.

Here are five of my favorite dessert recipes.

1. Vegan Banana “Nice” Cream

It’s summertime now, so I’m always in the mood for desserts that will keep me cool during the hot summer months. My go-to summer treat would have to be ice-cream, and this banana “nice” cream is fully satisfying. It’s creamy, smooth, and takes no time at all to make. All you need to do is blend banana and almond milk in a food processor and you’re good to go. Try making my vegan banana “nice” cream if you haven’t already!

Banana “nice” cream is one of the best plant-based ice creams you can make because it’s super healthy. Bananas are rich in potassium, and almond milk had numerous health benefits as well.

I like to add toppings to my ice cream like vegan chocolate chips (I like Lilly’s and Enjoy Life’s mini baking chips), nuts, peanut butter drizzle, and additional fruit. Adding topping is the fun part, so go crazy!

Ingredients you’ll need:

1. Bananas

2. Almond Milk

2. Peanut Butter Chocolate Date Bars

Any dessert with peanut butter and chocolate is a win for me. I wanted to include this no-bake date brownie recipe because it’s a dessert that you don’t have to wait to bake in the oven. Sometimes when I’m in the mood for brownies, I don’t want to make them because I have to wait so long for them to bake. But, these brownies are effortless and you can make them in just a few minutes. Try making my peanut butter chocolate date bars if you’re in the mood to make some fudgy brownies!

These date bars are also really low in added sugar. The sweetness comes from the mejdool dates, which is commonly referred to as nature’s candy. Dates are seriously one of the sweetest fruits on the planet, so I highly recommend trying them if you haven’t already.

Rather than using table sugar, high fructose corn syrup, and artificial sweeteners, I try and use mostly fruit to sweeten my dessert recipes.

Ingredients you’ll need:

1. Pitted Mejdool Dates

2. Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

3. Chia Seeds

4. Creamy Peanut Butter

5. Vegan Chocolate Chips

3. Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Chocolate covered strawberries are a super easy treat that is perfect to make for parties or getting together with friends during the summertime. Try making my recipe for chocolate covered strawberries! They’re super versatile and you can make them with sprinkles, peanut butter, and decorate them however you want! It’s also a perfect treat for taking cute photos.

This is one of those desserts I make when I want a more fruity dessert as opposed to a chocolatey dessert. Strawberries are also one of my favorite fruits, so I wanted to include a strawberry-flavored dessert recipe in this post.

Ingredients you’ll need:

1. Strawberries

2. Vegan Chocolate Chips

3. Sprinkles

4. Creamy Peanut Butter

4. Chocolate Dipped Banana Bites

Chocolate, peanut butter, and banana is truly one of the best concoctions there is. During the summer months I typically make more fruity desserts, and these banana dipped chocolate bites hit different. I have a recipe for them up on my blog, but they’re seriously so easy to make. All you need is chocolate, peanut butter, banana, and a little patience for them to chill in the freezer! This is another desert that is great for parties, barbecues, and social gatherings.

Ingredients you’ll need:

1. Bananas

2. Creamy Peanut Butter

3. Vegan Chocolate Chips

5. Strawberry-Banana Smoothie

I had to include my favorite summertime smoothie in today’s post. Strawberry banana smoothies are my go-to smoothies, and it’s a drink I make quite often during the summertime. I run outside in the hot temperatures, thus, I always gravitate towards making a refreshing smoothie as a post-workout snack. Try making my strawberry banana smoothie if you’re in need of a delicious and refreshing drink you can make in less than five minutes!

I use to drink strawberry banana smoothies all the time after my cross-country races. It was my reward for finishing a race. Smoothies are great to have after working out because they’re hydrating and cool you off.

This is one of my go-to smoothies because it has no added sugar. It’s a three ingredient smoothie recipe (unless you add some pumpkin seeds on top) and tastes really fresh.

Ingredients you’ll need:

1. Strawberries

2. Banana

3. Almond Milk

4. Pumpkin Seeds (Optional)

Here’s some of my favorite vegan alternatives:

1. Orgain Creamy Chocolate Fudge Protein Powder

2. Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip No Cow Bar

3. Lenny & Larry’s Cookie
