Crispy Oven Roasted Seasoned Potato Wedges
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Since I’ve been making a lot of sweet recipes lately, I wanted to kick this week off with a delicious savory recipe. Although I have a sweet tooth, I also enjoy having savory snacks. This recipe can be enjoyed as a snack or as a side dish for lunch or dinner.
This recipe for oven roasted seasoned potato wedges is incredibly delicious and super easy to make. The potato wedges are crispy, golden-brown, and packed with flavor. Adding spices is key when baking potatoes in the oven, and I used an assortment of spices including garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
This easy savory recipe is a great side dish or snack to have throughout the day. Roasted potato wedges are great served with ketchup or hummus. I personally love adding potatoes to my salads, nourish bowls, and burritos/tacos, but you can add them to your favorite dish.
How Long Does This Recipe Take To Make?
This recipe takes around 45 minutes to make. Allow 10 minutes to prep the potato wedges, around 30 minutes for them to bake in the oven, and 5 minutes for them to cool. This recipe is relatively quick, you just have to be a little patient while they bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
How Many Servings Does This Recipe Make?
This recipe yields two servings. I used one medium sized potato for this recipe, which was about two cups of potato wedges. If you want to make a larger batch, use 4 cups of potato wedges and double all of the ingredients listed on the recipe card below.
Ingredients
- Potatoes: You first need two cups of potato wedges. I cut one medium size potato into small wedges which was about two cups. Potatoes are incredibly tasty when you bake them in the oven, and adding the right seasonings is key to creating the perfect flavor.
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil: You will need 1/2 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil. You want to evenly coat the potato wedges in olive oil. Olive oil is a great ingredient to use when roasting or baking potatoes/veggies in the oven because it makes them extra crispy and golden brown.
- Garlic Powder: The next ingredient you need is garlic powder. Garlic powder is one of my favorite spices to use when baking because it’s super flavorful and adds a nice garlic/salty flavor to the potato wedges. I used 1/2 tsp of garlic powder and sprinkled it over all of the potato wedges.
- Onion Powder: You also need 1/2 tsp of onion powder. This is another spice that I almost always use when baking savory dishes/meals. Onion powder is flavorful and adds great flavor to these potato wedges.
- Paprika: Next, you need 1/4 tsp of paprika. I always add paprika to any fries/potato wedges I make. Paprika is an essential ingredient when making potatoes.
- Salt: You also need salt. I added a dash of salt to the potato wedges, but you can use more if you would like. I added the salt and pepper last after I added the potato wedges to an oven safe baking sheet.
- Pepper: You can add as much or as little pepper as you want. I added a dash of pepper.

Ingredients
- 2 cups potato wedges
- 1/2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- dash salt
- dash pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°
- Combine the potato wedges with the extra virgin olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt & pepper
- Mix thoroughly until the potato wedges are evenly coated in the olive oil and spices
- Place the potato wedges on a baking sheet
- Bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 350°
- Let cool and enjoy with ketchup or hummus!
