Vegan Chocolate Cake-Oil Free

Easy and delicious vegan chocolate cake that's oil-free.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat to 350°
  • Combine wet ingredients in one bowl: peanut butter, vanilla extract, applesauce, almond milk, and maple syrup
  • Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl: whole wheat flour and baking powder
  • Slowly fold dry ingredients to wet ingredients
  • Fold in chocolate chips
  • Grease a small baking pan with olive oil
  • Pour in cake mixture
  • Bake at 350° for 25 minutes
  • Let cool for an hour
  • Enjoy!
