- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup oat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 4 medium bananas
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips (vegan)
Preheat oven to 350°
Mash 4 medium bananas in a large mixing bowl
Add remaining wet ingredients to the mixing bowl: almond milk and pure maple syrup
Add dry ingredients to a separate large mixing bowl: whole wheat flour, oat flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon
Slowly fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients
Fold in walnuts and vegan chocolate chips
Lightly grease a loaf pan with olive oil
Pour banana bread batter into loaf pan
Sprinkle additional walnut pieces on top
Bake in oven at 350° for 40 minutes
