Dry Ingredients
- 3/4 cup oat flour
- 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Wet Ingredients
- 1/2 cup applesauce (I used unsweetened)
- 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup nut milk (I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
- 2 tbsp creamy salted peanut butter
- 1/2 cup finely chopped apple pieces
Preheat the oven to 350°
Combine the oat flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl
Whisk together the applesauce, pure maple syrup, nut milk and creamy salted peanut butter in a separate mixing bowl
Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until all of the ingredients are thoroughly combined
Fold in the apple pieces until they're evenly distributed in the batter
Add the donut batter to a donut pan to form 6 donuts
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 350°
Let cool and add additional toppings!
