Vegan Vanilla Cake Batter Protein Bars

Welcome back to my blog! I’m super excited to share this vegan vanilla cake batter protein bar recipe. I recently bought a container of my favorite Orgain protein powder, and I knew I just had to make a recipe for vanilla cake batter protein bars. I used the Orgain Simple Plant Protein Powder in the Creamy Vanilla flavor, and this recipe turned out so well.

This recipe is high in protein from both the protein powder and peanut butter, and it’s incredibly delicious. If you’re in need of a good protein powder that’s vegan, I highly recommend checking out this vanilla protein powder by Orgain. It’s my favorite brand of protein powder to buy.

Cake batter flavored recipes are some of my favorites to make, and there are so many delicious recipes I have in store for the next few weeks with this vanilla protein powder.

What Protein Powder Do You Need?

For this recipe, I used the Orgain Simple Plant Protein Powder in Creamy Vanilla. This is my favorite brand of protein powder to use, but you can use any vanilla protein powder. Just note that it might taste slightly different if you use an alternative vanilla protein powder for this recipe.

How Many Servings Does This Recipe Make?

This recipe yields 9 servings, and it makes about nine small protein bars. As always, you can double the recipe if you want to make a larger batch. This is the perfect snack or dessert to have when you want something quick and easy that’s also packed with protein. It’s definitely one of my new favorite easy recipes to make!

Ingredients

  • Rolled Oats: You first need rolled oats. Blend the rolled oats in a blender to make oat flour. Thoroughly mix together the oat flour and vanilla protein powder in a mixing bowl prior to adding your liquid ingredients.
  • Simple Orgain Plant Based Vanilla Protein Powder: I used the Orgain Simple Plant Protein Powder in the Creamy Vanilla flavor.
  • Creamy Salted Peanut Butter: You also need creamy salted peanut butter. This recipe calls for 1/4 cup of creamy peanut butter.
  • Pure Maple Syrup: To sweeten these protein bars, I added 2 tbsp of pure maple syrup. Maple syrup is my favorite sweetener to use, and it added the perfect amount of sweetness to these vanilla protein bars.
  • Nut Milk: I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk for this recipe. It’s my go-to plant-based milk to use, however, you can use any nut milk that you would like. I really like almond milk, and this recipe calls for 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp of nut milk. You want to mix the nut milk, pure maple syrup, and creamy salted peanut butter together before adding it to the oat flour and vanilla protein powder mixture.
  • Rainbow Sprinkles: For the topping, you need 1/2 tbsp of rainbow sprinkles. I sprinkled the sprinkles on top of the bars prior to baking them in the oven. It added a nice pop of color and additional sweetness. Feel free to add additional rainbow sprinkles on top or mixed into the protein bar dough!
